Your data rights
Download a machine-readable copy of your FishMap account data, or request account deletion. Deletion removes active account data; provider backups expire on their normal backup cycle.
Dark mode also keeps the map controls, sheets and menus dark where possible. Map tiles themselves remain unchanged.
Map & discovery
Clearing downloaded map data removes cached online fishing locations, tackle-shop results and saved postcode/town lookup data. It does not remove your journal or account.

Map data & licences
FishMap keeps the required on-map attribution deliberately compact. Full mapping and data credits are listed here.
Esri Satellite and hybrid imagery/reference layers are provided by Esri and its listed data-source partners. Provider attribution remains visible while those layers are selected.

Welcome to FishMap
FishMap is still in public beta, so some live services and venue details may occasionally be incomplete.
Standard FishMap pins are curated/bundled venues. Globe pins are additional locations discovered online from OpenStreetMap.
Always confirm access, permits, opening rules and fishery details with the venue or controlling club before travelling.
Your journal, private catch coordinates and custom locations are not automatically published to the community.
Beta access: features labelled as planned Premium features are complimentary during the public beta. These labels are informational only; no payment is required during beta.
You can report bugs or send beta feedback at any time from Settings → Beta feedback & diagnostics.

FishMap admin
Admin control without private-data access. This dashboard exposes aggregate metrics, public profile identifiers and moderation reports. It does not grant access to private journals, hidden catch coordinates, passwords or private message inboxes. If a participant reports a private message, only that reported message is copied into the moderation report.

Admin-only live catalogue controls. Edits, additions and deletions sync to users immediately when online and are cached locally for subsequent offline use.
Location corrections
Approve a verified correction to award the reporter 1 Contribution Point, or reject it. Approved reports remain in the review history so they can be folded into the next bundled/offline dataset release.
