These terms apply to the FishMap public beta operated by William Thomas Kemsley.
You must be at least 13 to create an account. Users under 18 receive enhanced privacy safeguards.
FishMap is currently a public beta. Features may change and occasional errors or interruptions may occur. Beta status does not remove any rights you have under applicable law.
FishMap is a planning tool. Venue details, access, licences, permits, close seasons, weather, routing and Fishability estimates can change. Users remain responsible for checking the controlling fishery/club and applicable law before fishing.
Do not harass people, impersonate others, publish another person's private information or fishing location without permission, encourage unlawful fishing, post illegal content, or misuse reports. FishMap may remove public/community content and restrict social participation where proportionate.
You retain ownership of content you submit. When you deliberately publish social content, you grant FishMap the limited permission needed to host, display and operate that feature until the content/account is removed, subject to lawful retention requirements.
Journal entries and hidden coordinates are not community posts. FishMap does not treat them as public simply because you have an account.
No online service can guarantee uninterrupted availability. Keep important records separately if you require an independent backup.
