Access and fishing rules

Brown trout season 15 Mar–6 Oct; sea trout 25 Feb–31 Oct where present. Follow Scottish law on one-rod fishing and Sunday migratory-fish restrictions. Respect land access, livestock, biosecurity and local notices; no overnight camping on OTFA sites. There are no boats for hire at the loch; much of the steep shoreline is unsuitable for wading. Treat any Arctic char conservatively and follow current local guidance.
